To our amazing and resilient patients,
Dr Spiegel and I would like you to know, we are both available to our patients during this unprecedented time. Our office, as we treat patients with chronic disease, pain and auto-immune disease is considered an essential health care practice. As an added service, our “virtual” doors are open as well. We are happy to review blood work or functional testing over the phone or video. We are also able to see new consultations or patients with new concerns over electronic means or in person.
We understand that many of you are very concerned about social contact during these times. We are, too. We want to reassure you that our office is constantly working to make sure both our patients and staff are safe.
In addition to us taking all precautions during and between patients, we have been keeping our waiting room clear. We have spaced out appointments so that patients are taken directly to the exam room when they arrive.
Ordinarily we love when our patients arrive to appointments early however, we ask that you stay in your car until your appointment time. We are happy to have you call the office when you are parked to alert us to your arrival. We will also contact you if we are running behind schedule.
When confirming your appointment, please let us know if you have had:

So please do not hesitate to call and or come for care if you believe you require it. You will feel much better in all ways for having done this.
We welcome any questions you may have.

At The Osteopathic Center for Healing we provide a comprehensive approach utilizing a true Integrative model for a broad array of medical conditions. We are one of only a few practices in the Washington DC Metro area to combine traditional medicine with Anti-Aging, Functional and Regenerative Medicine strategies.
FUNCTIONAL MEDICINE
Our Functional Medicine model is an individualized, patient-centered, science-based approach that allows patients and practitioners to work together to address the underlying causes of disease and promote optimal wellness. It requires a detailed understanding of each patient’s genetic, biochemical, and lifestyle factors and leverages that information to create personalized treatment plans.
By addressing root cause, rather than symptoms, we may find one condition has many different causes and, likewise, one cause may result in many different conditions. As a result, Functional Medicine treatment targets the specific manifestations of disease in each individual.
ANTI- AGING
We use preventative healthcare technologies and transformations that can combat chronic diseases associated with aging and underlying predispositions for certain illnesses. The goal for each patient is to foster and maintain a healthy and biologically efficient body.
Treatments to diminish the effects of aging might include – Hormone Balancing, Genetic testing, Customized Nutritional testing and Balancing, Cosmetic and Facial Aesthetics and Hair Re-growth.
REGENERATIVE MEDICINE
The goal of The goal of Regenerative Medicine is to restore the function and structure of damaged tissues and organs using innovative cellular therapies such as bone marrow aspirations, umbilical cells, exosomes and platelet rich plasma (PRP). With these strategies we have been able to address conditions that previously were only treated with surgical interventions including joint replacements.
Dr. Spiegel and Jennifer have extensive training and experience in their areas of expertise, frequently training other providers and students at our center. Darby and Leanna have been with us for over five years and find it very fulfilling to help guide our patients to their optimal health.
