Platlet Rich Plasma

Are you allowing your body to help you recover as soon as possible? Quickly get back to the activities you love.
Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy is a natural healing process that utilizes the body’s amazing ability to heal itself. By concentrating platelet cells taken from the patient’s blood, we are able to create injections that stimulate and optimize the body’s healing process. PRP injections work by releasing growth factors to injured areas; having a role in the regeneration of tissue, and thus accelerate the healing process.
These benefits come with almost no side effects, since the patient’s own blood is used for the procedure.

PRP is very effective in cases of regeneration and the healing of ligaments and tendons. It also can shorten recovery time, getting patients back on their feet sooner.

PRP commonly treats the following:
•    Tendonitis/Tendinopathy
•    Tennis Elbow
•    Rotator Cuff Tendonitis
•    Osteoarthritis
•    Plantar Fasciitis
•    Muscle injuries and tears

Prolotherapy

The goal of Prolotherapy is to stimulate the formation of fibrous connective tissue which has specific applications in the treatment of various musculoskeletal conditions. At the OCH Ultrasound guided injections are performed with a mild irritant solution of Dextrose into the site of injury. The irritant stimulates the body’s natural healing mechanisms encouraging the regeneration of new tissue.

Research shows more than 80% of patients treated with prolotherapy report a good or excellent result.

Many conditions respond well to prolotherapy, such as:
• Facet syndrome (back and neck arthritis)
• Whiplash
• Joint sprains
• Degenerative disc disease
• Osteoarthritis
• Tennis elbow
• Sprains
• Chronic tendonitis

Alpha 2 Macroglobalin

Are you suffering from joint arthritis?
Alpha-2-macroglobulin (A2M) therapy exemplifies natural healing backed by proven science that protects your joints from Osteoarthritis (OA), prevents cartilage breakdown, promotes tissue growth, and supports restoration of your affected joint. A2M is a large plasma protein that will inhibit substances in arthritic joints called catabolic proteases. By inhibiting the effects of these proteases the inflammatory response in the joint will be turned off blocking damage to the articular cartilage.

Don’t just accept arthritis pain, see how we can help.

Stem Cell Therapy

Stem Cells are the biological repairmen of our bodies. These cells can be extracted from areas rich in them including bone marrow and fat. The cells are then injected into the area being treated using Ultrasound guidance. The goal of this treatment is to assist in restoring the function of the muscle, joint or tendon being treated.

Conditions treated include:
• Osteoarthritis – Knee, Hip Shoulder, Ankle, Elbow or Wrist.
• Tennis elbow – Partial tendon tears – rotator cuff, Achilles tendon, Glenoid or hip labral tears, meniscal tears and other tendon injuries.
